Bartolommei Palace - 21 Salvemini square. Florence, Italy
CONSERVATIVE RENOVATION OF RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY
The building, located in the historic center of Florence at Piazza Gaetano Salvemini no. 21 and called “Palazzo Bartolommei,” dates back to the late 18th century and will undergo a renovation that aims to revisit the historical matrix of the building, respecting its existing architectural features.
THE DEVELOPMENT: 10 EXCLUSIVE UNITS
The project envisions the redevelopment of the building into just 10 residential units, ensuring utmost privacy, prestige, and a highly curated community.
Flexible Design: Each unit has been meticulously conceived with modular layouts to adapt to diverse market needs—ranging from luxurious pied-à-terre apartments to expansive, stately residences.
The Piano Nobile: The apartments located on the noble floor preserve exquisite original frescoes, offering the unrivaled experience of living within a private art gallery.
Bespoke Craftsmanship: Superior technical specifications allow for the complete personalization of finishes, featuring a selection of fine materials that celebrate the pinnacle of Italian excellence.
"Crossing the threshold of Palazzo Bartolommei is more than merely entering a home; it is a step into history itself. Within the Piano Nobile, time seems to have stood still in a silent tribute to beauty. To look up is to lose oneself amidst perfectly preserved eighteenth-century frescoes, where the original pigments still converse with the warm light filtering in from Piazza Salvemini. Here, every room whispers of an understated aristocratic elegance—one that shuns ostentation, revealing itself instead through the quiet majesty of grand proportions and the prestige of details that have spanned centuries, now ready to embrace a new, exclusive chapter of life."

Todescan Palace - Republic Square -Florence
The building was constructed between 1901 and 1903 based on a design by architect Giovanni Paciarelli during the final phase of reconstruction of the area, following the demolition of the old market and the Jewish ghetto. Originally, the building housed the “Grandi Magazzini, all'industria inglese, Pola e Todescan” (from which its current name derives), which specialised in the sale of inexpensive goods. The large, distinctly monumental building is part of the 19th-century orthogonal grid of the city centre, a short distance from Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza San Giovanni and Piazza Strozzi. The building was designed in accordance with some of the dictates of the then nascent Art Nouveau style, already flourishing in other European countries. While in general, with its imposing mass, the architecture still appears to be linked to nineteenth-century taste, the decorations are already attributable to the new style, with sculpted protomes, coloured ceramic friezes (the work of the Florentine manufacturer Cantagalli) and wrought iron work (from the Michelucci workshops in Pistoia).
